Hey, look, stuff!

Welp, I've more or less finished cleaning out my gallery for the moment! I plan on deleting a few things, but that can wait till later. There are some things I still wanna do something with, so I'm keeping those things here for a bit longer.
I've got some new stuff to upload! Not too much, mind you, but it's enough. For the next few days, it'll just be proper scannings of the WIP's I've been posting on various other accounts on the Interwebs, but eventually I'll post a triptych that was too big for the scanner that I don't recall posting anywhere else for whatever reason I'm not sure of but was probably legitimate at the time.
I'm also in the process of rewriting Crimson Wings for the 1847576949th time! I'm actually quite satisfied with what I have this time so I'll get around to posting that as I finish a few more chapters. I might do weekly updates, once I actually get that going.
What I plan on doing in the future with drawings and stuff is mostly keeping this account to finished pieces and the occasional concept sketches. Maaaaaayyybeeeeee some WIP's and doodles, if I'm particularly proud of them.
I'm also planning on getting Photoshop soon! ...If I can keep myself from buying more games.
Here's to hoping for an artistical spring!

I'm barely staying afloat.
I decided to challenge myself in college, in an attempt to get an Associate of Arts before running off to designing games, and so far it's been successful. I'm graduating a semester later than I'd hoped, but I haven't saved nearly as much cash away for me to go off, so I'm not very bothered.
But with balancing 18 credit hours plus a full-time job I'm drowning in a sea of homework, to the point where I sometimes rage quit and run to my 3DS for solace. All I've managed artistically are some mid-class doodles in the middle of my notes (my art style is starting to take a semireallistic turn, at least).
I'm catching up on my homework though! Hopefully, I'll finish up by the end of the week so I could scan the few older pieces I've got finished that I've posted as WIP pics on other Internet accounts.
Till then, I'll be here finishing this ever-growing stack of homework.

Hey, look, I'm back.

Wow, it's been a year. Over a year, looking back at my last journal. Whoops.
In the hustle and bustle of college life, my scanner ended up malfunctioning again and I ended up unable to scan anything. I have my iPad, but crappily taken pictures of stuff don't look as good. Plus, I ended up getting hit with Writer's Block again, a bad one this time, and I'm (once again) tearing Crimson Wings apart and rewriting it. I've taken more into actually drawing scenes out and stuff; maybe that way I'd be more able to describe things, like the thief chase in chapter 1. The members of my college's writer's club think it's a pretty good idea, so I'm going with it.
I'm still desperately trying to balance 18 credit hours of school, a full-time job, and trying to remain creative. I actually hadn't so much as doodled on homework since starting classes. But things have a way of working themselves out, so I'll sit here and see where sweet Lady Fate takes me.
Let's hope for a creative 2014!

The Return of the Ninja

...the title is based on The Return of the King lol. I've been rewatching those since The Hobbit came out.
Anyway, I've been gone from this site for like, ever. ((bad Lis!)) Partly due to lack of internet connection at my house (my smartphone takes 3G, which is the reason I'm still usually present on Facebook, Deviantart takes forever to load on it, however, even on Firefox, and I don't have the patience.) My poor iPad becomes a really, really expensive Angry Birds machine when I'm at my house, sadly.
That will change in the near future, for I kinda need to establish the internet at my house for school (I neither the time nor gas money to travel somewhere just for free wifi.)
Anyway, as to drawings, I have a bunch of ready-to-upload drawings (not as many as I'd like though, because of my job).
Concerning Crimson Wings I'm thinking about deleting the entire chpter I'm working on (4) and rewriting the damned thing again (for the 8724074th time).
Concerning my A-Z of Awesomeness series, I still havn't been able to get subject C (FFIV's Cecil Harvey) to come out right (damn you) so I'm stuck there, plus series has been paused due to an idea of a new series that sprouted from my fandom of a certain video game series. (friends I have on Facebook for sure know of this)
Fire Emblem: Awakening comes out next month!!!!!
I literally bought my 3DS just for the intention of it being an expensive Fire Emblem machine. My obsession with the series started in middle school with The Sacred Stones, followed by Shadow Dragon (which, sadly, didn't live up to my expectations as a remake, partially because of the lack of the support conversation feature and the reclass feature, but multiplayer was amazing) and The Blazing Sword. Sadly, I haven't played either Path of Radience nor Radient Dawn. That will change (after Awakening) I also managed (thanks to my dear computer nerd of a cousin) to find an English version (patched) to the Japan exclusive Sword of Seals, which makes us feel awesome.
My sketch series (yeah these will just be not-so-raw sketches) will hopefully include every class in the game and my favorite member of said class, due to character design, game stats, personality, etc. I shall start with my favorite class in the entire game: the Myrmidon/Swordmaster group. As to characters, I'm still not sure. (I've encountered 11 Myrmidons or Swordmasters so far, including Kilmar in the Champion's Sword manga. I love Kilmar... *blush*)
anyway, yeah, I'm coming back into my dull limelight.

Drawing Dump (finally!)

In between work and spontaneous hangouts, I've squeezed some time to take a drawing dump here ((that sounds disgusting .__.))
At the same time I've got some other drawings in their finishing touches, and a new chapter of Crimson Wings in revision.
